"Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Memory" Center for German Studies

Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Memoryā€¯ is a 1.5-day Page Barbour conference on March 24 and 25, 2017, organized by Chad Dodson (Psychology) and Lorna Martens (German and Comparative Literature). Eight invited memory specialists will address topics of current interest in memory research. One speaker from the sciences and one from the humanities will present a perspective on each of these areas: 1. Memory and Imagination (Daniel Schacter and Alan Richardson) 2. Memory and Emotion (Mara Mather and Laura Otis) 3. Memory and Autobiography: Childhood Memory (Evelyne Ender and Patricia Bauer) 4. Voluntary and Involuntary Memory and Forgetting (Cathy Caruth and Michael Anderson).
