Andrew Flay

Andrew is a current fourth year undergraduate and first year graduate student pursuing an accelerated M.A. in European Studies. As an undergraduate, he double majored in History and Foreign Affairs, emphasizing 20th century international relations and conflict, and how trends and outcomes may be applied to contemporary political dilemmas and challenges. As a Lithuanian-American dual citizen raised in the Foreign Service, he brings a diverse perspective to his academic research from having lived abroad in cities such as Moscow, Hanoi, Tel Aviv, Vilnius, and Frankfurt. His research interests include security studies and international relations, emphasizing the Baltic States, where he aims to write his thesis on Russian information and cognitive warfare tactics impacting domestic and foreign politics in Lithuania.
